We’ve scaled-up our Summer School enduro curriculum to apply to dual-sport and ADV bikes.
This one-day course is designed specifically for Dual Sport and ADV riders who are transitioning from street riding to exploring the dirt. This unique combination of enduro techniques adapted to large bikes will fast-track your confidence both on and off the road. Big Bike ADV Day will be a great investment in your safety and enjoyment of motorcycling for years to come.
Curriculum
Our teaching focuses on progressive learning, linking each concept to the next, combined with a host of entertaining games designed to develop your skills. Unlocking these skills will allow you to achieve your full riding potential, enhancing your skills for a lifetime on two-wheels. We will cover:
Bike setup for off-road use
Default body position
Weight distribution
Energy conservation techniques
Static balance
Lifting your motorcycle properly
Full lock turns
Head position
Braking techniques (basic and advanced)
Turn initiation
Basic and advanced cornering
Weight/deweight
Unloading the front wheel
Basic obstacle crossing techniques
Turning big bikes in small spaces
Skill based games and challenges!

Additional Details
We recommend you ride or trailer *shudder* your ADV or Dual-Sport bike to our event. There is plenty of safe parking and applying your new skills to a large motorcycle is an important part of the course.
This course is recommended for 600cc and up dual-sport and Adventure motorcycles, but “Big Bike” is a relative term! If you’re a smaller statured rider a 400cc bike can feel like a beast! if you have any questions about your situation, contact us at adventure@tractionerag.com – We’ll make sure you’re taken care of.
